 God blessed the seventh day,
and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work
which God created and made. - Gen.2:3 -- Before anything else existed,
there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is himself God.
He created everything there is--nothing exists that he didn't make.

JESUS KEPT THE SABBATH: "He went to
Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into
the synagogue, as was his custom... - Lu.4:16NIV. --- Christ, who suffered
for you, is your example. Follow in his steps: He never sinned, never told a
lie, -1 Pet.2:21-22LBHIS DISCIPLES KEPT THE SABBATH:
"They observed the tomb and how His body was laid. Then they returned and
prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath
according to the commandment.--Lu.23:55-56.THE SABBATH WILL BE KEPT IN
HEAVEN: -"The new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain
before Me... and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to
worship before Me,'' says the Lord. - Ia.66:22-23.

| The Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. --- For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: -- Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. - Mat.12:8; Col.1:16; Mk.2:28. --- Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them. -Ezek.20:12 |  |
| If you keep the Sabbath holy, not having
your own fun and business on that day, but enjoying the Sabbath and
speaking of it with delight as the Lord's holy day, and honoring the Lord
in what you do, not following your own desires and pleasure, nor talking
idly--then the Lord will be your delight, and I will see to it that you
ride high, and get your full share of the blessings... The Lord has
spoken. -- For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these
words: "And on the seventh day God rested from all his work." There
remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters
God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his.

SUMMARY: THE SABBATH IS THE
TRUE LORD'S DAY BECAUSE JESUS MADE IT, BLESSED IT, SANCTIFIED IT,
COMMANDED IT'S OBSERVANCE, KEPT IT HOLY AND TAUGHT HOW WE SHOULD KEEP IT.
--- HE WARNED US ABOUT FALSE CHRISTS THAT WOULD COME AND OF OUR NEED TO
STUDY DANIEL WHO SPOKE OF A POWER THAT WOULD TRY TO CHANGE THE
SABBATH.Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not
come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed,
..who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God --2
Thes.2:3-4 - He will speak words against the Most High...and think to
change the times [of... holy days] and the law. - Dan.7:25 Amp.
